Savanna Intense |
|
|
Savanna Intense has its full identity defined in the genuine creole spirit
from Reunion Island. Sprung from three centuries of progress and innovation,
this rum develops a strong well-balanced bouquet blossoming its savour
while preparing cocktails and planters punch.
Ripped fruits & banana notes.
All the subtlety of sugar refinery’s rums lies in the aromatic
essence of a noble product, molasses: the non crystallisable mother-liquor
stemming from the sugar cane pressing. Thanks to the installation
of the first inox tanks conferring exceptional neutrality properties
to rums, they became pure crystal brandies after distillation.
After two years of research & development Distillerie de Savanna
has elaborated a vigorous traditional rum with a unique sweet texture
just as intense as our Island.

Savanna Lontan |
|
Savanna Lontan is the noblest expression of the aromatic values contained
in molasses, oftenly defined as the honey of sugar cane. Thanks to
a mixed “old style” fermentation, very slow and perfectly
controlled process, Savanna Lontan fully expresses its precious and
aromatic flavours. Ideal for amateurs who appreciate authenticity,
it is a real asset for culinary arts: its flavours delight palates
and perfume your desserts.
Lontan means “before” in creole: Distillerie de Savanna choose this designation
to remind the craftsmanship of old times. Lontan means “long
time”: Distillerie de Savanna choose this designation to remind
the connoisseurs of the length of this full-bodied spirit.
The mastering of this technology required 5 years of research. Today,
Savanna Lontan is one of the pride rums of Distillerie de Savanna since it embodies
the blend of technological innovation and historical savours.

Savanna Métis |
|
Savanna Métis stems from a slow maturating process in oak
barrel that gives it this wonderful gold brightness and this unique
citrine colour. The delicacy of its volatile flavours is full-bodied
with warm, floral and tonic notes.
Light bouquet, vanilla, dried flowers and pepper mint notes.
When alluding to genuine tastes, there is no need to make it complicated:
at the beginning of the 20th century, there was no storage in inox
tanks. Every rum sailing towards Europe was stocked in oak casks.
Thus our ancestors did appreciate only maturing rums. Savanna Métis
invites you to rediscover these typical farewell flavours.

The
Cap Savanna Old Rums |
|
Our
Cap Savanna Old Rums develop their aromatic credentials thanks to
the improvement during the maturing process in selected oak casks
from Limousin and Allier. A constant control, a particular attention
in the selection of casks – whether young to get a tannic vigor,
or older to get a sweet wisdom nurturing our rums – and a perfect
mastering of mixtures favour the balance and the expression of the
properties linked to each age of maturing: these are the essentials
components which determines the true and unique tasting values of
